Picvero

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Picvero – Photo Editor handles information when you use the app.

Effective date: August 19, 2026
Last updated: August 19, 2026

1. Overview

Picvero is designed as a privacy-focused photo editing application. The app is intended to perform its core photo editing operations locally on your device.

We do not require you to create an account to use the core editing features.

2. Photos and Images

Picvero may access photos or images that you explicitly choose for editing. These images are used only to provide the editing features you request.

Picvero is designed so that your photos and edited images are processed locally on your device and are not uploaded by Picvero to our own servers.

3. Permissions

Picvero may request device permissions only when they are needed for a feature you choose to use.

Where supported, Picvero prefers Android's system photo picker so you can choose specific images without granting broad access to your entire photo library.

4. Local Storage

Picvero may store editing projects, temporary files, preferences, masks, thumbnails, or exported images locally on your device so that the app can provide features such as autosave, project recovery, and export.

You can remove locally saved Picvero data by deleting projects from the app where supported, clearing the app's storage through Android settings, or uninstalling the app.

5. Data Collection

The current privacy-focused version of Picvero is intended to operate without user accounts, advertising SDKs, or behavioral analytics.

We do not intentionally collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, or payment information through the core photo editing experience.

If future versions add optional analytics, advertising, cloud processing, subscriptions, accounts, or online AI features, this Privacy Policy will be updated before those features are released.

6. On-Device Processing and Smart Features

Some Picvero features may use on-device image processing or machine-learning components for tasks such as subject segmentation, background removal, blur, masking, enhancement, or similar editing tools.

These features are intended to process the selected image on your device. A system component or third-party on-device SDK may download supporting model files or resources needed for local processing, but Picvero does not intentionally upload your selected photos to our own servers for these local editing features.

7. Third-Party Services

Picvero may use third-party software libraries to provide technical functionality such as image rendering, file selection, device integration, or on-device machine-learning features.

We aim to use libraries that are appropriate for mobile distribution and consistent with Picvero's privacy-focused design.

If a future version introduces a third-party service that collects or transmits user data, this policy and the app's Google Play Data safety disclosures will be updated accordingly.

8. Advertising

The current version of Picvero is not intended to use advertising SDKs.

If advertisements are introduced in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated to explain the relevant data practices before that change is released.

9. Children's Privacy

Picvero does not knowingly collect personal information from children through its core offline photo editing functionality.

If the app's intended audience, features, or data practices change in the future, we will review and update the app and this policy to comply with applicable requirements.

10. Data Sharing and Sale

We do not sell personal information or user photos.

We do not intentionally share user photos with advertisers, data brokers, or marketing companies.

11. Data Security

Picvero is designed to minimize unnecessary data collection by keeping core editing operations on the user's device. No mobile application or storage system can guarantee absolute security, but minimizing transmission and collection reduces unnecessary exposure of user content.

12. Data Retention

Picvero does not intentionally retain your photos on our own servers for the core offline editing workflow.

Projects and files saved locally remain on your device until you delete them, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the application, subject to Android's storage behavior and any backups you have independently enabled on your device.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Picvero's features, technology, legal requirements, or data practices change.

When we make changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
